# The permanent address layer for printed things

> Ink doesn't expire.

Print it once and it resolves forever — through redesigns, campaigns, price changes, cancellation, and the 2027 barcode transition.

## The problem: rented permanence

The category sells permanent-looking objects on a monthly meter. It charges at the fifth edit, expires the code when you downgrade, and deletes the history at thirty days. A print run outlives a subscription. Everyone has priced as though it does not.

## What reRoute does

### Permanence — The code never dies

The destination is the only part of a printed thing you can change after it exists. So that is the part we refuse to meter, ration, or switch off.

- Unlimited destination changes, and we do not count them
- Printed codes keep resolving after you cancel
- Scan history is never truncated
- Static codes carry no server dependency at all

### Control — One code, many destinations

A code printed on a thousand objects should not be limited to meaning one thing for the rest of its life.

- Route by country, city, device, OS or time of day
- Split traffic to test two destinations
- Password, expiry dates and scan caps
- Repoint an entire print run in about ten seconds

### Readiness — Built for the 2027 shelf

Retail is moving to 2D barcodes on a deadline. The resolver that answers those scans is infrastructure, and it has been priced like an enterprise contract.

- A conformant GS1 Digital Link resolver, linkset and all
- GTIN ownership bounded by claimed GS1 company prefixes
- First-party conversion attribution that survives cookie loss
- REST API and MCP server for automation

## Pricing

- **Free** — unlimited static QR codes generated in your browser, no account. Three dynamic links you can repoint after printing.
- **Pro, $4.99/month** — unlimited dynamic links and unlimited destination changes, scan analytics kept indefinitely, five seats.
- **Enterprise** — custom domains, REST API and MCP server, GS1 Digital Link resolver, client workspaces.
