Leaving Bitly or Rebrandly? Your links come with you.

Bitly and Rebrandly CSV exports work out of the box — we auto-detect their column names. Any other CSV works too, as long as each row has a destination URL under a header like "Long URL", "Destination", or "URL". Optional columns for the custom back-half, title, and tags are picked up automatically when present.

Yes. If your CSV includes a custom back-half (like bit.ly/summer-sale), we keep it — your new link becomes rrte.link/summer-sale. If a back-half is already taken or appears twice in the file, that link gets a fresh auto-generated short ID instead of failing the import.

The import creates links up to your plan's remaining quota and tells you exactly how many were skipped — nothing is silently dropped. The free plan includes 3 dynamic links; Pro and Enterprise are unlimited. You can upgrade and re-run the import for the rest at any time.

No. Once a link is created it keeps redirecting forever — even if you downgrade or cancel a paid plan. We never pause existing links, inject ads, or hold your printed QR codes hostage. Plan limits only apply to creating new links.

Printed codes that encode a bit.ly or rebrand.ly URL still resolve through that provider's domain — importing cannot transfer control of it. While your old account is active, repoint those links at your new destinations from inside that dashboard. For anything you print from now on, use your new rrte.link short links: those QR codes never die, whatever plan you are on.

Up to 1,000 links per upload (2 MB max file size). If you have more, split the export into multiple files and run the import again — duplicates of already-taken back-halves simply receive new short IDs.

Yes. Imported links are ordinary dynamic links: every scan and click is tracked with device, country, and time breakdowns, and you can add routing rules, retargeting pixels, expiry, or password protection afterwards.
