reRoute vs Flowcode

Flowcode sells design as much as redirects — a real design studio, landing pages, Fortune 500 positioning — and it deserves credit for not metering destination edits on any tier, free included. What it does meter is volume: Pro Plus is $25 a month billed annually ($60 monthly) with up to 50 codes and 6,000 scans. reRoute Pro is $4.99 a month and meters neither. Every number below links to the source it came from.

The short version

If you are buying a brand experience — designed codes, landing pages, CRM integration, enterprise personalization — Flowcode is excellent and this page will not pretend otherwise. The trade is volume metering and price: Pro Plus caps codes at 50 and scans at 6,000 for $25 a month billed annually, and monthly billing jumps to $60. reRoute Pro is $4.99 a month, meters neither codes nor scans, and includes five seats to Flowcode’s three. Both leave destination edits unlimited, which is the feature a dynamic QR code exists for.

Head to head

Including a genuine parity and the two where Flowcode wins.

Flowcode

Unlimited on every tier, free included — Flowcode's own table lists “Always scan” and “Edit destination anytime”.

reRoute

Unlimited on every paid plan. Genuine parity — worth saying plainly.

Entry paid price

Flowcode

$25 a month on Pro Plus billed annually — but $60 on monthly billing, a 2.4× jump if you avoid the annual commitment.

reRoute

$4.99 a month, or $3.99 billed annually.

Creating codes

Flowcode

Up to 2 Flowcodes free, up to 50 on Pro Plus. Growth starts at 150.

reRoute

Unlimited dynamic codes on paid plans, and unlimited free static codes without an account.

Scan limits

Flowcode

Up to 500 scans free, up to 6,000 on Pro Plus, and the first 10,000 scans with geo data on Growth.

reRoute

No scan caps on any plan — and a static code generated in your browser never routes through our servers at all.

People on the account

Flowcode

1 seat free, 3 collaboration seats on Pro Plus.

reRoute

5 people on Pro at $4.99. Unlimited on Enterprise at $19.99.

Brand and design studio

Flowcode

A genuine design studio, Fortune 500 client positioning, and codes that look designed rather than generated.

reRoute

Ring frames, shape masks and halftone styling with a scan check — solid, but not a design agency.

Landing pages and CRM

Flowcode

Flowpages landing pages on every paid tier, CRM integrations and API access on Growth, and FlowID enterprise personalization.

reRoute

We do links, QR codes and analytics. There is no landing-page builder or CRM suite.

Fair questions

Is reRoute a drop-in replacement for Flowcode?
For the QR-and-redirect core — dynamic codes, shortlinks, scan analytics, device and country routing — yes. Codes already printed with Flowcode URLs stay with Flowcode, since no provider can take over another provider's domain: repoint what Flowcode still hosts and print new material with reRoute codes. If you rely on Flowpages landing pages or Flowcode's CRM integrations, there is no reRoute equivalent and you should weigh that honestly.
Flowcode also has unlimited destination edits. Why switch?
Editing is genuine parity — Flowcode extends it to the free tier, and we say so above. The differences are the meters and the price: Pro Plus is $25 a month billed annually (or $60 monthly) with 50 codes, 6,000 scans and 3 seats. reRoute Pro is $4.99 a month with no meter on codes or scans and five people included.
What do Growth and Enterprise cost?
Flowcode lists Growth at $250 a month billed annually, starting at 150 codes with the first 10,000 scans carrying geo data. Growth Plus and Enterprise are custom, usage-based pricing — Flowcode does not publish figures for them and neither will we.
When is Flowcode the better choice?
If you are buying design — codes that carry a brand, landing pages built in the same tool, a conversion suite wired into your CRM, enterprise personalization — Flowcode is genuinely strong and positions itself with Fortune 500 clients for a reason. This page exists for the buyer whose printed codes mostly need to keep working, stay editable and not be metered, at the lowest workable price.

Try it before you switch anything

The QR generator is free and needs no account. Make one, scan it, see how it feels — then bring your dynamic codes over whenever you are ready.
